Washington, D.C. – Immigrant youth of United We Dream Action aren’t done celebrating this day yet. Tonight, the Biden administration announced a 100 day moratorium on deportations

Greisa Martinez Rosas, Executive Director of United We Dream Action, said:

“Immigrant youth of UWDA traveled to Iowa in early 2020 to speak directly to then-candidate Joe Biden to demand a moratorium on deportations, which separate families, harm and kill our people. Tonight, we delivered. This is our win and it is just the beginning; immigrants across the country can go to sleep knowing they are protected. The immigrant youth who traveled to Iowa to make this demand also need a pathway to citizenship like all 11 million undocumented immigrants. We will continue to push for what our communities need, and celebrate every win along the way. Our existence, our demands, and our power is undeniable.”
