Washington, D.C. – Today, President Biden released more details of his Build Back Better framework, which includes a $100 billion investment in immigration reform.

“All year long, immigrant youth have made it clear that recovery without immigrants is not recovery. The inclusion of immigration in today’s Build Back Better framework is the right thing to do and is a result of the tireless efforts by directly impacted communities. Many of whom have taken action nationwide to push President Biden and Democrats to deliver on their campaign promises. Our communities have never shied away from demanding Democrats be bold and deliver a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented people this year.
For decades, undocumented people have waited for permanent relief that is always one election cycle away, but our communities and our lives cannot wait any longer! We will be relentless in our pursuit and will not allow President Biden and Democrats to make any excuses or hide behind unelected advisors. They can, and must, do everything in their power to ensure that millions of undocumented people experience the relief that we need and deserve this year!”
