Washington, D.C. – With the rise of violent and cruel attacks against immigrant communities nationwide, the young leaders of United We Dream Action launched a new six figure digital ad campaign this week focused on raising the alarm about Project 2025’s vicious agenda to target and attack our loved ones, neighbors, peers, and community members who are immigrants.
The chilling new ad tells the story of a young undocumented student who is targeted during her college seminar by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In the ad, the student’s peers and professor take a powerful, defiant stance in protecting the undocumented student. The ad makes a powerful statement that together we all have a role to play in keeping each other safe against Project 2025’s fascist agenda. The digital ad will run until early November across streaming platforms such as Hulu and YouTube.

“Project 2025 is an existential threat to our lives and to the safety and well-being of the people around us –friends, neighbors, peers, loved ones– who are inherently part of our communities. All around us, we are seeing the very foundation of Project 2025 take shape, from statewide policies aimed at racially profiling Black and brown communities and breaking apart entire families through mass detentions and deportations, to baseless and vindictive attacks to dismantle DACA, prevent immigrant youth from accessing healthcare, and stopping the newly announced Keeping Families Together process from helping families.
Black and brown immigrants are among the first to be attacked by white nationalist policies like those in Project 2025. But make no mistake: Project 2025’s fascist agenda is coming after all of us, immigrants and non-immigrants alike. While we are seeing the building blocks of Project 2025 take shape around us, this ad is a powerful and timely reminder that the efforts to strip us of our rights and make us fearful to go about our daily lives is not inevitable: together, we have the power to stop it and take bold, unapologetic stances to protect each other.”
