  • Cornyn has voted to declare English the official language of the U.S., to build a fence along the U.S.-Mexico border, and to penalize immigrant friendly cities by revoking federal funding. 
  • Cornyn has voted against the Dream Act since 2007.
  • Cornyn made xenophobic and racist comments about COVID-19, blaming Chinese culture and Chinese  foods for originating the virus.
  • Cornyn is a staunch Trump supporter, voting with Trump 95% of the time.

  • Blanco has already come out against the BREATHE Act, which was championed by the Movement for Black Lives as a response to the continued violence against Black people by police.

Candidates UWDA PAC has endorsed because they’ve demonstrated commitment to a vision in which all immigrants and people of color can thrive and pledged to our #FreeToStay platform for immigrant justice.

Candidates actively harming our communities and are responsible for allowing Trump to carry out his white supremacist agenda.

Although there are candidates on here that we have not endorsed, getting them elected will chip away at Trump’s enablers. We need to stop Trump’s Evil Amigos!
